Altus, Oklahoma – November 11, 2009 - OK•1 Safety & Ergonomics, a leading manufacturer of workplace safety and ergonomics products, announced today that OK-1 Business Manager, Jim Teigen has been appointed as Chairman to the International Safety Equipment Association’s (ISEA) 2009-2011 High Visibility Product Group.
The ISEA is a prominent U.S. trade association for manufacturers of safety and personal protective equipment. The organization actively promotes the standardization of safety equipment within the industry, collects/disseminates information within the industry and represents the industry before government bodies. The High Visibility Product Group is one of fourteen specialized areas, focusing specifically on reflective/high visibility and traffic safety products.
Mr. Teigen has over 28 years safety experience, with 19 years of Unites States Air Force Safety experience, including commands of Chief of Safety, Flight Safety, Nuclear Safety Officer, and Aircraft Accident Investigator. Jim has also taught system safety management courses for the USAF and at the University of Washington. He holds a BBA and MBA, Management.
